Hope For My Computer??

By chocolena

I just somehow managed to stick the charger into my computer, but I can’t move because it won’t charge if the position just changes the tiniest bit… Right now I’m up to 20% battery, which would last about 10 minutes…  But i hope I’m at least gonna be able to use my computer a little bit for the last 6 weeks. I just deleted all my peronal stufff that was on there – it always hurts my feelings to do stuff like that =( especially when I have to delete all my pictures from the other computer, if anything happens to my picture cd’s I’m gonna lose all of them, i couldn’t take that! I should make 2 copies, just in case…

I had a horrible horrible week last week, I was in the worst mood ever, I wanted to dig a hole, lay in there and have someone plant a tree above me… – Part of the reason why I didn’t blog at all, if not the reason. I can’t write when I’m sad or in a bad mood, I just can’t think of anything  else than my misery and I don’t wanna bother you with my wining about how terrible everything is. But now I’m better. I had to work yesterday (sunday) and it turned out to be a lot of fun and really good, because I feel like the situation in the house with my host parents got a lot better, we had a good time and I think we could make those last couple of weeks work without me feeling like I have to get away as quickly as possible. So working on Sunday was more fun than my day of on Saturday, I was just hanging around in Middletown, Goshen and Warwick, going from one coffeehouse to the next, I think that’s what caused the final breakdown of my computer. Rich warned me, “don’t carry your computer around because that thing’s gonna break sooner or later, try not to unplug it, only if you really HAVE to” But careless as I am I just suffed it into my purse, and now i have to lie on the floor because I can’t move the computer… Very comfortable, can you figure!?
Rich finally fixed my car, it is so great, now I’m cruisin out on the road again with my 77 Mercedes – I love that car! Tomorrow I’m gonna bring it to the inspection so that I don’t get another ticket. I got pulled over twice, both times by a nice (and even cute, at least the second time) cop who said I seemed like such a nice person, so neither one of them gave me a ticket. Even though one of them could have given me two, because one of my headlights wasn’t working =) But then I parked at the trainstation when I went to the city for one weekend, and when I got back I had this “VIOLATION NOTIC” – I almost got a heart attack… They really go around and check the inspection date!! Now everything’s fixed so I can go get the inspection done, I just had to drive around and put some more miles on the car because it hasn’t changed since last year (I think Rich just turned the thing that counts the miles off) and that’d be a little suspicious. That’s why I went for a long ride yesterday night, I just didn’t know where to go and of course got lost somewhere in stupid Middletown =( it started pouring and I was driving through the worst thunderstorm ever… Kinda scary – perfect scene for a horror movie. I always find myself in situations like that.. But I got home allright, a lot happier than before, I simply love driving (especially that car!!)
Today was a boring workday, we went to the park and surprisingly met Robert there, playing on the swing with his kid. The kids had a very long nap so i looked up some visa information and then just hung out with the kiddies for the rest of the day. At night I went into Warwick again (put some miles on the car!!) and ran into another Au Pair at the Cafe A La Mode, Vince. I met him there on Saturday, too, it was kinda funny. So I got my favourite Ice Cream (Barefoot Brownie) and iced coffee (Graham Cracker) and just sat there a little bit with Vince until he had to leave, then alone (I wanted Bruna to come but she was busy looking for a plane ticket to California for TOMORROW – spontaneous decision… It’s so unfair!!) And then I came home and tryed to get my computer running – it worked *yay*!! I’ll try now to get some more writing done, who knows how long my emergency plugging in lasts… Let’s hope for the best!
